About Us
OSNT.IN is a daily brief on the Russia-Ukraine war, read from Ukrainian, Russian and Western open sources and written in English, with the source of each item named and linked.
Why it exists
Most of what is written about this war in English starts from English-language reporting. Much of the record does not: Ukrainian officials and regional authorities, Russian state media, pro-war Telegram channels and independent Russian outlets publish in their own language first, and some of it is edited or deleted within hours.
OSNT.IN reads that record every day, keeps what it collected, and puts it in one attributed brief each morning, so a reader can see who said what without reading three languages of news and Telegram.

How it works, in short

- DraftEach morning a model drafts the brief under written rules. Every statement has to point to the posts and articles it rests on.
- CheckAutomated checks remove links that don't hold and flag what needs a second look.

- ReadIt is read every morning after publication, and errors are corrected on the published brief.

What we keep
Every brief since March 2026 stays online at its own dated address.
For Telegram we keep what we collected: the text of each post, when it was posted, whether it was later edited, and whether it was gone when we checked again. When a post cited in the brief is later edited or removed, the brief still shows what it said when we collected it, and marks it as edited or deleted.

Who runs it
OSNT.IN is built and run by Mike Hafin, its founder. The brief is drafted by a model under written rules; the rules, and the responsibility for what the brief says, are his.
Independence
OSNT.IN is self-funded and has no investors. It carries no advertising and no sponsored content.
